Waste of Money

I bought this and it spit paint constantly. I constantly thinned the paint until it was nearly 40% water and it would never spray right. I then upgraded to the next level hoping that more “power” would make the difference, but it didn’t and I finished up with the same results. A simple spray job that should have taken about 3 hours finished up taking 2 weekends.
Coughs and chokes on paint and stain will ruin your project!

I bought one of these to spray railings on my deck. Got so clogged with the latex stain that it started to goop on the tip and cough up globs all over my deck. I even tried the thinner Wagner suggests with no luck. Sprays either too much or too small and is really heavy. Kills your shoulder after 15 minutes and I’m in pretty excellent shape. Loud as can be; you’ll need ear plugs for sure. It used a gallon of expensive stain to cover 12 feet of rails! Took it back to Lowes and told them they could have it – money back or not. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY What a joke.
Add $20 for stain tip!

I haven’t even used this yet, and I’m already upset that it does come with a stain spray tip. Even though it claims to spray stains, you will have to buy a separate “optimus stain tip” for an extra $20. The tip is not currently even sold on Amazon.
